KL Swifter @ AFF Suzuki Cup Final 2010

EVENT : AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 Final ( Convoy from DRB-Hicom to Bukit Jalil Stadium )

For AFF Suzuki Cup Final this year, Suzuki Malaysia has invited KL Swfiter to be part of convoy from DRB-Hicom, Glemarie to Bukit Jalil Stadium. The convoy which consisted of 100 (or more ) Suzuki ( swift , vitara, alto, sx4 ) was  escorted all the way by few Police bikes and cars.

Before heading to DRB-Hicom, all of us gathered at Esso, near Sunway Pyramid at 3PM.

Next Destinantion: DRB-Hicom, Glenmarie.

This is where the registration of the participant was done. Each participant (car) was given the national flag, that is to be placed on top of the car hood before the convoy.

Then the “Operation Flag on Hood” began.

Just right after all of us have finished installing the flag, it started to rain. So we had to start off the convoy in the rain. The convoy was lead by a suzuki Alto owned but one of the Suzki sales center. Together with the Police patrol bikes and cars, we started to drive out of DRB-Hicom after the official flagoff .

Since the left lane is jammed up, the police allowed us to use the right lane ( opposite direction ). Awesome !!

Arrived at the Stadium..

In the Stadium where we watch Malaysia WON the AFF Suzuki Cup!!

MALAYSIA BOLEH !!! KL SWIFTER BOLEH !!!
